Small Class Size

As it is our firm intention to raise Nuh’s Ark students with ample love and attention, we are limiting our class size to 6 children.

Focus on Tarbiyah:

The small class size facilitates our focus on instilling adab and age-appropriate tarbiyah in the students

Daily Qur’an Circle:

During Monday-Thursday, the children will start their day with a Qur’an Circle led by an experienced teacher who has worked for many years with children. Sara Kim has recently earned her ijaza (teaching license) in Qur’an and is looking forward to teaching your children the memorization of suwar (chapters) from Juz Amma (30th part of the Holy Qur’an). She will be focusing on proper pronunciation and tajweed.

Center Time:

Our focus is to develop the skills needed to understand and appreciate the world around them. We will use open-ended material to introduced early Language Arts and Math concepts of letters, letter sounds, uppercase/lowercase letters, as well as numbers, colors, shapes, and phonics. We will focus on developing the following skills during Center Time: Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Language Development, Cognitive Skill Development, Social and Personality Development and Creative Expression through Art

Weekly Ranch Day:

Every Friday is our ranch day at Sienna Ranch. It is a family-owned 21-acre ranch in Lafayette, CA near the intersection of Highway 680 and 24. Their focus is on youth, families, environment, and community. The ranch is home to many animals including chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, ponies, and horses. Sienna Ranch focus is on youth, families, environment, and community. Their staff is especially trained to make a positive impact on all those who come to Sienna Ranch for any program. The ranch is an oasis of serenity, nature, and calm in the middle of suburbia. You're certain to feel the peaceful energy of the land as soon as you enter its gates.

Healthy and Halal Lunch

All meals and snacks are provided by Nuh’s Ark preschool. Kiran is an experienced cook. She will lead the children in preparing their snacks and meals. All food will be halal, healthy, and nutritious (organic whenever possible). Monthly menus will be posted in advance. We will ensure proper adab (etiquettes) around meal times. We will make sure your children are well-fed, insha’Allah!

In order to bring barakah (blessing) to our preschool and to the children whom you have trusted us with, we have decided to donate a portion of each child’s tuition towards supporting the education of a child in Pakistan.
